I have a problem. I think my vagina may be really small. Cuz i get scared just to put a tampon in. And im scared to go to the gyno bc i dont want them shoving anything in there bc im so tight. i am a virgin..but i should be able to handle a pap right?? I dont know whats wrong w me. Its embaressing and i dont tell any of my friends. Also i had to go to the gyno twice(in which all they did was swab me bc anything else hurt tooo much) bc i have some white creamy discharge coming out of me that itched a lot. I couldnt imagine what it was since i am a virgin. But they told me i had a bacterial infection. And gave me some pills but they didnt work at all. I clean everything really well so i dont know what is causing this infection and why it wont just go away. The gyno also recommeneded i use a smaller tampon. I forget what they're called...Please help me!!

I don't have answers for all your questions, but if you reposted this in the Live Journal community for VP you will probably get many more answers. more people look at it every day. Smiley

You can still get bacterial vaginosis and yeast infections without having sex. When you say you wash everything really well, do you mean you use soap inside your vagaina? or just on your vulva? If you are using the soap inside your vagina that could be the cause of your bacterial infection, vagina's don't really need soap, they are self cleaning so to speak. Using soap can actually unbalance your vagina's PH and 'cause more smells and in some cases BV or yeast infections. You could also just be very sensitive to soap in the area at all.

The smallest tampons are usually called Juniors or Lights. OB tampons are also pretty small, when i still used tampons the ones shaped like OB were my favorite.
